About
A unique wildlife safari tour of the Rhodope mountains with an experienced guide. You will have the opportunity to observe the animals that inhabit these woods – brown bears, wolves, foxes, chamois, red deer, roe deer, wild boars, mouflons, capercaillie, hares, badgers, wildcats depending on the season – and to get familiar with their behavior. The guide will show you how to identify the tracks of various wild animals and teach you to survive in the wilderness.
Horse-riding enthusiasts have the chance to go on an invigorating ride if they wish. The excursion will also take you on a hike down an especially entertaining eco-trail scattered with bridges, wooden steps, rest stops, rivers overflowing with trout, a stunning waterfall, and the ruins of a Bulgarian fortress dating back to the 6-8th century AD.
You will also learn legends and interesting facts about the mythical Rhodope mountain and visit some of its major landmarks – the Trigrad Gorge, the Devil's Throat cave and Yagodina cave, and the Elephant rock formation. You can take a dip and unwind in the warm outdoor mineral water pool, open all year round.
