This 3-day programme takes you through the most fascinating and harsh parts of Northern Pirin Mountains. A trail best suited for physically active people with some trekking experience and proper equipment.

Description
Day 1
The day begins with a 45-minute transfer to to Gotse Delchev Hut, where the bottom lift station of the Bezbog chair-lift is located. Transfer via lift to an altitude of 2240 m, near Bezbog Lake. The trek starts from this point and lasts for 4.5-5 hours, taking you past the largest lake in the mountain of Pirin – Popovo ezero – up to Tevno Lake Hut (Tevno Ezero Hut), where we will be spending the night. The hut is located 2512m above sea level, situated next to Dark Lake in a gorgeous mountain cirque. The hut’s facilities include dormitories, a shared outhouse/toilet, no shower; food and beverages are available. Optional afternoon hike up to the nearby Momin Dvor Peak. The total amount of walking throughout the day is 7 km, +600/-300 m.
Day 2
We head off in the morning from Tevno Lake Hut along Pirin’s main mountain ridge, which overlooks the beautiful rocky peaks and shimmering lakes on both sides. We traverse the Tipitsite peaks at an altitude of 2645 m and descend down the Bunderishki Lakes valley to Vihren Hut. This day’s walking amounts to a total of 6.5 hrs, +480/-1025 m. Overnight at the hut, with enough rooms for 2/3/4/8 people and a shower; food and drinks available.
Day 3
We start with a 7-8-hour trek, traversing through Mount Vihren – the highest summit of the Pirin Mountains, located at 2914 m above sea level. An optional extension of the trip takes us to Koncheto (“The Foal”) – a small section of the Pirin ridge secured by railings. +1000/-1000 m throughout the day.
Transfer by shuttle bus in the afternoon down to the town of Bansko – 30min.
